Places to Visit in your Kathmandu Tours:
Bouddha: The largest Stupas in South Asia is Bouddha Stupa and it has become
the central point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The white mound looms thirty-six
meters overhead. The stupa is located on the ancient trade route to Tibet, and Tibetan
merchants rested and offered prayers here for many centuries. When refugees entered
Nepal from Tibet in the 1950s, many of them decided to live around Bouddha. They
established many gompas, and the "Little Tibet" of Nepal was born. This "Little
Tibet" is still the best place in the Valley to observe Tibetan lifestyle. Monks
walk about in maroon robes. Tibetans walk with prayer wheels in their hands, and
the rituals of prostration are presented to the Buddha as worshippers circumambulate
the stupa on their hands and knees, bowing down to their lord.
Pashupati Nath: Pashupati Nath Temple is one of the most important and world
famous Hindu temple standing on the banks of the Bagamati River, between the airport
and Boudha. This Shiva temple on the subcontinent draws numerous devotees, sadhus
and holy men from all around the world. In-front of the temple there is a bull known
as Nandi facing towards the temple. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple
and no one is allowed to take photographs of the Lord Shiva inside the temple. Bagamati
River Bank on the side of Pashupati, is also a popular place for cremation.
Swayambhu Stupa: Swayambhu Stupa is a popular Buddhist site in Kathmandu.
Swayambhu Stupa is located on top of the hill that overlooks the valley of Kathmandu.
Hanumandhoka: Hanuman Dhoka, means, "Hanuman Gate", with several complexes
spread over an area of about five acres, is the social, religious and urban focal
point of Kathmandu.
Nasal Chowk: The meaning of Nasal Chowk is dancing one and the courtyard
takes its name from a small figure of dancing Shiva. Inside the nasal chowk, there
is a large statue of Narshigha, The Kabindrapur Temple, Pancha Mukhi Hanuman Temple,
Basantapur Tower, Mul Chowk, Degutaleju Temple, Mohan Chowk and Rana museum.

Day 01: Kathmandu
Arrive at airport at Kathmadu. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. Meet our
representative & check-in hotel. Rest & relax at the hotel, later on have a sightseeing
tour to City Durbar Square. This square is famous for old palaces, temples, Kumari
Ghar and so on. Now we move on to Syambhunath, famous world heritage sight with
magnificent views of the Kathmandu valley and tribute to Buddhism. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu – Chitwan
After having your relaxed breakfast drive to Chitwan. Chitwan is 180 Km from Kathmandu
& is a 05 hours drive from Kathmandu. Chitwan is one of Asia's premier wildlife
reserves. Its 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests are home to a wide
variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 03: Chitwan
After breakfast enjoy Jungle observation at Chitwan National park. The highlight
being the Elephant Safari in the jungles. Other activities are Canoeing, Dugout
canoe, Nature Walk and Bird Watching. Also experience walking through the forests
with naturalists and watch the Native folk dances of the Terais. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Chitwan - Pokhara
After breakfast drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is 180 Km & is a 04 hours drive from Chitwan.
From Pokhara town (2,352 feet) the 25,000+ peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri
ranges rise a scant 20 miles away with no intervening ridges to spoil the view.

Day 05: Pokhara
After breakfast have a visit to Bindebasini Temple. This is one of the oldest temples
in Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple,Goddess Durga.
Sightseeing to Devi’s fall, also known as Patale Chango is an awesome waterfall
lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. Just opposite of Devi’s fall, on the other side
of the road, there is Gupteshwor Cave. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Pokhara - Kathmandu
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel. Rest day at leisure.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Kathmandu - Airport
After morning breakfast you will be taken for a visit of the Hindu culture in Nepal,
Pashupatinath. This is the place where holy saddhus pray and cremations on the Bagmati
River are carried out. We then continue to the holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture
in Nepal, Bouddhanath, with its large stupa, this is the place where all devout
Buddhists come for a pilgrimage. Later on our driver will drop you at the airport
in time to board your flight for onward journey.
