Lumbini: Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha. The closest airport is Varanasi. Lumbini copse, the holy site of Lord Buddha's birth is today a small village in Nepal, 27 km from Sonauli on the Indo-Nepal Border.

Sravasti: Sravasti is also an ancient city, once the capital city of the ancient kingdom of Kosala. Sravasti has the honour for sheltering Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in the Jetvana Gardens. The famous Anand Bodhi Tree is also situated here. It is said that this tree have been planted by Buddha's main disciple. The closest airport is Lucknow, which is just 151 km away.

Nalanda: Nalanda was a well-known university in ancient India. Nalanda Univrsity was established in the 5th century B.C. it remained a live center of learning till the 12th century A.D. when it was destroyed by the attacker Bakhtiar Khilji. Lord Mahavira and the Buddha both taught here for many years.

Rajgir: Rajgir is surrounded by the roundabout river Banganga and 5 hills. Once the hills and caves surrounding Rajagriha (Rajgir) were home to spiritual teachers, ranging from the materialism of the early Charavaka school to the metaphysics of Upanishadic philosophers.
